Adding users to your account allows you to designate separate login credentials and access permissions for each user. This article provides an overview of each built-in user role.

Rinsed uses a combination of roles and permissions. The combination of roles and permissions dictate their access and the amount of data that they can see.

Both must be assigned to users for proper access. If a role is not assigned without a location permission or vice versa, the app will be blank.

There are 4 main roles: Admin, Marketer, Agent, and Analytics. The table shows what each role can access within the app:

How to add Users:

  1. Click the Settings cog on the left hand Menu and click Users

  1. Select ‘New User’ in the upper right hand corner.

  2. Enter Email, First name, and Roles in the field and click ‘Create User’

    Both Role and Locations must be assigned to users for proper access. If a role is not assigned without a location permission or vice versa, the application will be blank.

    An invite email will be sent to the email entered in a few minutes. If they have not received it, please check the Spam folder.

    You are responsible for ensuring that the correct personnel at your organization have appropriate access to data within the Rinsed platform. They should only be able to view and edit the data necessary to meet the requirements of their specific roles at your company.

    We encourage you to take a conservative, least-privilege approach to assigning user permissions. We also encourage you to periodically review the list of users in your account and the permissions you've assigned to each.
